![]() ![]() The show started at 7:30 pm and our train was at 9:25 pm, a huge rush to get the bus back due to rains.but thankfully a line of buses quickly cleared the load and we could reach the station in time. again if u have kids its a fantastic 2 hrs to spend in a toy train u have to get off at various stations play games, edutainment etc.the food court close by is huge and good choice.then again back to the statue to view the glow garden and laser show.but rains played spoilsport.as soon as the laser show started it started pouring and we had to abandon and rush back to get our bags from the cloak room and take the bus to the station for our train back to mumbai. not much to see and can be quite hot.next we came back all the way to the starting point for the Nutrition park. The pettting zone opp the safari is not that great, few animals, smelly cages and can be skipped. Then had a quick bite/icecream and on to the Dam view point. If u have small kids the safari is a great place.the aviary is recommended.and they are still buliding many enclosures.but all in all u can spend 2 - 3 hrs here. The ride up the gallery was good.no one around.views were fantastic.then spent 30 mins at the exhibit and was out in an hours time.the Food court nearby is a good place to eat.while kids had the subway.I found the Khamani sev quite good.then we were off to the Jungle safari about 200 m away.take the bus there are plenty of them.ensure they are going in the right direction. A cloak room near the SOU camps is a good place to store your bags/backpacks as it is not allowed in the Statue area, as you are frisked and except water or your personal stuff can't carry luggage. Boarded the bus and was in the statue within minutes. Hired a taxi from a resort at Netrang about 70 kms away so reach SOU by 8 am. ![]() We had booked online to view the statue at the 8 am - 10 am slot. ![]()
